After Wat Rong Khun we will proceed for a further 30 minutes by vehicle to a contrasting collection of buildings called Baan Dam, Baan Dam is a collection of temple like buildings housing an eclectic range of artifacts collected and produced by local artist Thawan Duchanee. The boat will proceed to the the Golden Triangle, this is the point where the three countries (Thailand, Myanmar and Laos) meet at the Mekong River. At the Golden Triangle you can take some time to enjoy the view of the Mekong and the three counties which are visible from this point . Lunch will be taken by the Mekong River before heading up to Mae Sai the border town on the Thai Myanmar border, here you can visit the border market on the Thai side.
